6.2 Upon termination of this Agreement for any reason, the Renter must return the instrument and all accessories to The Flute Store Malaysia within 48 hours (or by the deadline stated in TFS’s written notice, whichever is earlier), in the same condition as received (fair wear and tear excepted).
6.3 If the Renter fails to return the instrument within the required timeframe, TFS may treat the instrument as unreturned/lost, and the Renter remains liable for:

9.1 In the event of loss or theft, the renter shall be responsible for paying the value of the same new model, regardless of the deposit amount.
9.2 For the purposes of this Agreement, “Value of the Same New Model” means the current retail selling price in Malaysia (at the time of assessment) of a brand-new instrument of the same model (including the same key configuration/specification where applicable).
9.3 If the exact model is discontinued or unavailable, it will mean the current retail selling price in Malaysia of the nearest equivalent new model. Any reasonable costs directly related to replacing the instrument (such as shipping, insurance, and applicable duties/taxes) may also be included.
9.4 In the event of theft or loss of the instrument (or any part/accessories), the Renter must:
    (a) Notify TFS within 24 hours of discovering the theft/loss; and
    (b) Lodge a police report within 48 hours, and provide TFS with the police report number and a copy of the report (where available).
9.5 These steps help us document the incident properly and assist you as quickly as possible. If the above reporting requirements are not met, it may limit our ability to verify the incident and provide support. However, the Renter remains responsible for the instrument during the rental period and may still be required to pay the value of the same new model in accordance with this Agreement.
  10. Extension & Renewal
10.1 Rental must be renewed before the due date.
10.2 Failure to renew on time may result in late charges or the instrument being reassigned to another customer.
